  • Been training here for a while and it’s hands down one of the best environments I’ve been part of. Professional coaching but still super chill. Great energy, great people, and nothing beats getting rounds in with the boys while the music’s going. Feels like home.

  • Marc is patient, disciplined, and great with kids — he manages to make class fun while also keeping the structure and focus that martial arts requires. He explains concepts clearly, and it’s been amazing to watch our kids grow over the past 8 months — taking the basic drills they’ve learned and applying them in real practice. You can tell there’s a true curriculum in place, with each class building on the last, but at the same time the sessions are welcoming and enjoyable even for drop-ins.

  • I've trained at Crucial Instincts several times, and every time I was there it was an absolute blast and time well spent. Whether it was keeping my Jiu-Jitsu fresh, or sharpening my boxing skills Marc and the other members gave me impeccable work, it’s clear that the athletes and coaches are there to work and work hard. Crucial Instincts is a paragon of Martial Arts training in this part of Minnesota, I highly recommend to anyone regardless of their level of experience.

  • Trainers that aren't intimidating, but very motivating and supportive.
